Biography:

Marley Wisnoski is the Associate Artistic Director at Theatre Under the Stars.

She is a director and dramaturg with a MA in Theatre Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama-University of London, and she holds a BFA in Performance from Baylor University. Prior to moving to Houston, Marley practiced theatre in London for two years, and she has worked on several productions in the UK and the USA.

In 2012, Marley began assisting and apprenticing TUTS’ Artistic Director, Bruce Lumpkin. Since then, she has worked at TUTS on several projects dramaturgically, including the company’s newest venture—TUTS Underground. She has served as Director for Bonnie & Clyde, First Date and James and the Giant Peach and as Assistant Director for Music Man, Waiting for Johnny Depp, Reefer Madness, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Hands On A Hardbody, Murder Ballad, Elf, and Man of La Mancha.

Marley has also directed and taught at the collegiate level. Her courses included "Intro to Theatre", "The History of the Theatre", and "Film History" and has developed several theatrical-based workshops for students.
