When: June 26th - 29th, 2025

This will be LMDA’s first binational conference. We have created a conference experience that is flexible. The opening ceremony and keynote conversations on Thursday will be video streamed to connect both sides of the border at SDSU and CECUT. Friday, our main conference hub will be at CECUT in Tijuana and Saturday, our main conference hub will be at The Old Globe in San Diego. But you could also elect not to cross the SD/TJ border and still have a full and engaging experience. We have optional events at SDSU or CECUT and additional suggestions for cultural experiences as well as performances for those who choose not to attend the events at the main conference hub.

Early Bird Registration

  • All conference fees are processed by LMDA in U.S. dollars.
  • This discounted Early Bird Registration is available until May 15, 2025.
    • $75 off for regular LMDA members
    • $25 off for ECD members
    • $50 off non-members.
  • Registration includes a single ticket to the Gala Banquet held at a museum in Balboa Park on Saturday. It also includes group transportation to/from CECUT in Tijuana.

For those who are interested in participating in only 1 or 2 days of the conference, day passes are available. These do not include a Gala Banquet ticket.
The Gala Banquet will be held at the Mingei Museum in Balboa Park, San Diego. Tickets to the Banquet are included in your registration, except for the Day Pass.

If you need additional banquet tickets, they are $50 each.
Regional Lunches will be held at CECUT in Tijuana on Friday.

For this bi-national conference, we will have some sessions in English only, Spanish only, and some blended.
