Sam (she/her) is an award-winning director who has worked in practically every area that theatre has to offer, all while remaining a part-time stay-at-home mom to her own little performer. She received a BA degree in Theatre Arts Studies from BYU in 2019 and an MA degree in Arts Administration from SUU in 2022. Her passions are advocating for human rights and celebrating new works. Recent awards and recognitions include Best Director (for The Days Come and Go and Literally) at Avonlea Theater Company's Six Feet Apart Festival in 2020 and selection of her ten-minute play Out There for production at the Utah New Works Theatre Project’s 2020 Utah New Works Ten (then promptly cancelled due to COVID-19). Her current role as a ticket agent at the Idaho Falls Arts Council keeps her busily involved with the arts in her community. She is also serving as the board chair at An Other Theater Company in Provo, UT. When she’s not working on a theatre project she’s probably searching for her next one or watching Gilmore Girls.
