Seeking Dramaturg for Indigenous Story Workshop

IBEX Puppetry seeks an experienced dramaturg to work with the core creative team of their upcoming project "Crane: On Earth, In Sky" at the Atlantic Center for the Arts in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Reflecting our connectedness with all of creation, "Crane: On Earth, In Sky" bears witness to the birth and first year of flight of whooping cranes in North America. It unfolds through puppetry, traditional dances, projections and kites. This tale reveals the symbiotic relationship between cranes and Native American/Indigenous people.

Due to the sensitive nature of the project, IBEX seeks a dramaturg experienced working with indigenous cultures. The workshop will run from August 21-29 with some flexibility in dates. Travel, room and board, as well as an industry standard development fee will be provided. If interested, please send a resume and brief cover letter to Associate Producer Brenna Ross.

Ty Defoe (Co-Creator - Ojibwe and Oneida)
