GIULIANNA MARCHESE (Literary Manager, Dramaturg, Writer) graduated with Honors from Carnegie Mellon University in 2017, where she studied dramaturgy. She apprenticed at American Theater Company in Chicago and interned at City Theatre and Quantum Theatre in Pittsburgh. Her plays have been performed in the Skokie Short Play Festival, CMU’s Playground New Work Festival, and by At Home Artist Project, a digital theatre company. As a graduate student, Giulianna’s research focuses on using performance to support alternative approaches to justice. You can read her thesis (titled Restorative Theatre) on ProQuest. She is currently the literary manager of Red Theater where she curates a monthly script reading book club (https://redtheater.org/scriptclub). She currently lives in Morocco where she is studying Arabic.
