Biography
Geoffrey Kershner is the Chief Executive Officer at the Academy Center of the Arts (Lynchburg, VA) and the founder of the Endstation Theatre Company and Small Town/Big Arts, an online resource for small community arts delivery.

Geoffrey has served on Virginia Commission for the Arts (Area 2 & state wide) and Rhode Island Council for the Arts grant review panels and served on the Nomination Advisory Committee and as a panelist for the Mid Atlantic Arts Regional Resilience Fund. He was a member of the National Arts Strategies' 2014-2015 Chief Executive Cohort, is currently a member of the American's for the Arts' Emerging Leaders Council, the Virginians for the Arts board of directors, and serves on the University of the Arts Alumni Council. He has been a featured speaker at the League of Historic American Theatre's national conference.

Geoffrey founded Small Town/Big Arts in 2022 which is an online resource for arts delivery in smaller communities. Each month Geoffrey interviews a different American arts leader facilitating the arts in small town America. These interviews are released in a monthly podcast, Small Town/Big Arts (Apple Podcasts, Spotify).
