Jeff has a PhD in Interdisciplinary Theatre Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where his dissertation examined plays and films that use humor to explore the Holocaust. His current research projects include an article looking at Peter Barnes's play "Auschwitz" through Theodor Adorno's statement that "to write poetry after Auschwitz" is barbaric.
