Lauren Chapman and Gemma F. De Leon recently received dramaturgy fellowships from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) National Competition. Chapman, a student at James Madison University, will attend the New Play Dramaturgy Intensive and National New Play Network MFA Playwrights’ Workshop at the Kennedy Center. De Leon, a student at the University of Oregon, will attend the O’Neill National Playwrights’Conference as a member of the literary staff. Both received their fellowships due to their dramaturgical work at their respective universities. LMDA congratulates them both on their accomplishments.
