Julia Moriarty holds a PhD in Theatre from Wayne State University. She is an Assistant Professor of Theatre and degree coordinator at Missouri State University. She has worked as a director, dramaturg, performer, intimacy director, and teaching artist throughout the country. Julia is the co-founder and co-editor-in-chief of Etudes, a theatre and performance studies journal for emerging scholars. Her research engages narratology within contemporary performance and media studies, and her work has recently been published in Comedy Studies, Theatre Topics, and JDTC.
