Evangeline Jiménez is a Chicana/Tejana from Lubbock, TX. She is a playwright, dramaturg, performance scholar, and educator. She utilizes her dramaturgical skillset for interdisciplinary and disciplinary projects for production, social activism in local communities, and in philanthropic work. She works as an Assistant Professor of Theatre History, Dramatic Criticism, and Dramatic Literature at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. She is the Focus Group Representative for the Religion & Theatre Focus Group in the Association for Theatre in Higher Education.
