Teagan is a PhD student in Performance Studies at UH Mānoa under the guidance of Dr. Markus Wessendorf. Her dissertation research is focused on female personifications of Death, specifically in Polish folklore. As a theatre practitioner, she is an experienced musical theatre performer with professional interests in directing, dramaturgy, and performance. She recently received the ACTF Meritorious Achievement Award in recognition of her digital program for Jonathan Larson’s RENT at UH Mānoa (2025) and the ACTF Region 8 (2026) Production Dramaturgy and Program Note award for her work on the National Playwriting program at the conference.
