The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center (WHBPAC), a 501 (c) 3 community-based theatre on the East End of Long Island, is seeking a dynamic and energetic Manager for its highly acclaimed Nancy and Frederick DeMatteis Arts Academy. Our Arts Academy serves over 600 students in year-round theatre and music programs, one on one classes, and summer camps,and serves over 10,000 students through school day performances. Our vision is to create better artists and better humans through the power of the performing arts. WHBPAC utilizes the Tessitura software for class registration.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Annual $52,000 per year

As full-time Arts Education Manager, you will be the first point of contact for our students and families, handling registrations, and managing rosters. You will manage and work collaboratively with a team of roughly ten Teaching Artists. You will schedule class and camp sessions for our students ages 5 to 99 for after-school and evening programs, as well as help with weekend events. You will teach in your area of expertise, where appropriate. You will act as an ambassador, assisting with marketing and taking full advantage of outreach opportunities. You will work closely not only with our dedicated Arts Academy Director, but also a warm, welcoming, and fun team of seven who create performing arts magic all year round.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre, Education, or related;
Experience: Threey ears arts education experience with an institution, or part of a public, private school, college/university;
Technical Knowledge: Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email. Experience with Tessitura a plus; or any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and skills as determined by management may be substituted for the above.
