Jihye Kim is a freelance dramaturg based in Seoul, Santa Barbara, L.A. As a new play dramaturg, she has been working with several Korean & U.S. playwrights’ on their new works. Prior to moving to California, she worked as a production dramaturg in Chicago. As an ensemble devisor, she frequently works with both professional and non-professional performers on generating new materials in new mediums. At UCSB, she taught dramatic literature, dramaturgy, theatre histories, and intro to acting.
