I am a director, dramaturg, and choreographer with a passion for developing and producing new work. I have assistant directed at Arena Stage, The Folger, Theatre J, Mosaic Theater Company, among others. I dramaturg nationwide, working in new work development as well as reading and evaluating scripts for regional theatres, developmental centers, and graduate programs across the country. I served as Round House Theater’s 2022/2023 Artistic Apprentice and have been an Artistic Associate with Theatre Prometheus for three years, where I was nominated for Best Choreography by Broadway World DC for our production of Pliant Girls. I graduated Wesleyan University with a double major in Theater and American Studies, with a minor in African American Studies, concentrating on the analysis of play texts as cultural touchstones and centering research and contextual competency in my practice. My work reflects my communities: a witty and dark Jewish humor, the grit and complexity of my Chicago theatre roots, and the communal care and commitment that is pervasive in DC’s theatre scene.
