Shelby is a recent graduate from the University of Michigan where she received a Bachelor of Theatre Arts in Playwriting and Dramaturgy with a double minor in Music and User Experience Design (High Honors). She currently works at the esteemed Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in their development office, and loves to read plays for their National Playwrights Conference when she can. She also serves as the editorial assistant for the Theatre/Practice journal (MATC). Shelby is a passionate freelancer, and would love to bring your story to life whether its a new story or a timeless production.

Shelby is the proud recipient of the 2024 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival regional awards in dramaturgy and theatre journalism and advocacy.
