Julia Farrell Diefenbach is a Chicago-based director and dramaturg creating immersive, research-driven theatre that blends performance, ritual, and audience agency to explore identity, relevance, and collective experience. A graduate of Columbia College of Chicago with a degree in directing and a minor in stage combat, she has worked with many Chicago theatres including: Haven Chicago, Shattered Globe Theatre, Citadel Theatre, Midsommer Flight, Firebrand Theatre, Broken Nose Theatre, Victory Gardens, and Collaboraction.
