Gabriela Aparicio - Expedición: en busca del dramaturgista en México
Expedición: en busca del dramaturgista en México surge de la necesidad de crear espacios para la reflexión sobre la labor del dramaturgista en México. El proyecto se divide en dos etapas: en la primera se formará un grupo de estudiantes/egresados de diversas escuelas artísticas: teatro, danza, artes plásticas, etc., con el objetivo de encontrar la forma de colaborar con un dramaturgista desde cada una de las disciplinas. A partir de las reflexiones dentro del taller se deriva la segunda parte que será una pieza artística, cuya finalidad es que los participantes exploten sus disciplinas y además experimenten los vínculos que un dramaturgista puede tener con el público.
Gabriela Aparicio: Dramaturgista y directora. Nació en la Ciudad de México. Es licenciada en Literatura Dramática y Teatro por la UNAM, para su tesis El dramaturgista en México realizó más de 35 entrevistas a dramaturgistas de diferentes países como Chile, Argentina, Cuba, República Dominica, Alemania, España, Estados Unidos, entre otros. Como dramaturgista ha participado en obras como Tiempo de fiesta, Conmemorantes y Vine a Rusia porque me dijeron que acá vivía un tal Antón Chéjov; como directora ha participado en La Maraña, Pólvora y El dilema del erizo. Desde 2015 es miembro del Colectivo Eutheria Teatro, colectivo de creadores escénicos que desde 2012 realiza proyectos teatrales, buscando generar experiencias significativas para los espectadores, teniendo como premisa que el teatro es el espacio, tanto físico como simbólico, de confrontación de realidades. Desde 2016 hasta 2018, la obra Vine a Rusia ha tenido un total de 75 presentaciones en 8 recintos de la Ciudad de México, así como el Estado de México, Tlaxcala, Querétaro, Veracruz, Morelos y San Luis Potosí.
Expedition: in the Search for the Dramaturg in Mexico
Expedition: in the Search for the Dramaturg in Mexico was born out of the need for creating spaces to reflect about the work of the Dramaturg in Mexico. The project consists of two stages. The first is to bring together a group of students and alumni from different artistic schools (theatre, dance, plastic arts, etc.) with the goal of finding a way for said disciplines to collaborate with a Dramaturg in their field. With the reflections from the first stage of the workshop, the second stage develops: an artistic piece, whose goal will be to show the participants’ skills and demonstrate the connection that a Dramaturg can reach with an audience.
Gabriela Aparicio: Dramaturg and director. She was born in Mexico City. She is a graduate of Dramatic Literature and Theatre from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM); her thesis The Dramaturg in Mexico contains more than 35 interviews of Dramaturgs from countries like Chile, Argentina, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Germany, Spain, United States, and others. She has collaborated as Dramaturg in plays such as Tiempo de fiesta, Conmemorantes, and Vine a Rusia porque me dijeron que acá vivía un tal Antón Chéjov, and as Director in La Maraña, Pólvora and El dilema del erizo. Since 2015 she has been a member of Colectivo Eutherian Teatro, a group of performance art creators that seeks to engender significative experiences to an audience under the premise that theatre is a physical and symbolic space to confront realities. The stage play Vine a Rusia has had a total of 75 presentations in 8 spaces of Mexico City, and around the country in cities like Estado de México, Tlaxcala, Querétaro, Veracruz, Morelos and San Luis Potosí.
