The Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas 2025 Conference (in-person and digital) theme is Dramaturgy and Creative Infrastructure.

The Digital Conference is the most significant opportunity for access when it comes to LMDA Conference participation, while the In-Person Conference has a fee to attend and requires travel accommodations. There are things that both LMDA Conferences share, like the theme and the overall planning committees, but they are separate ventures.

The Digital Conference was birthed by necessity three years ago, and in the interest of keeping LMDA on the digital front, we have continued to host it — learning and growing from each one so we know how to improve for the following years. The Digital Conference is in conversation with the yearly opus of the In-Person, which will take place this year as LMDA's first bi-national conference at the border of San Diego, California and Tijuana, Mexico!
