Biography
A lifelong theatre lover, Carol received her BFA in Acting from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. A big state-hopper, she has lived and trained in New York, Chicago, Dallas, and Los Angeles. She is a Member of the Stage Directors & Choreographers Society (SDC) and was selected as part of the 2017 Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s F.A.I.R. program where she Assisted Directed Beauty and the Beast. Additionally, she was a 2016 participant with Directors Lab West.
She has spent over ten years focusing on Directing and below is a partial list of credits: I Love You Because, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Violet, Beau Jest, A Murder is Announced, For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls, and Beyond the Horizon. Assistant Directing credits include: Procreation, A Man’s a Man, The Chicago Conspiracy Trial, and The Fantasticks.
Very recently, she started her own theatre company, Endeavor Theatre Ensemble, with a focus on the small, less-often produced chamber musicals, contemporary plays by female playwrights and being a source of “yes” to women of all backgrounds looking for theatrical opportunities (on-stage and off)!
