MFA graduate from Yale School of Drama in Dramaturgy and Dramatic Criticism, now a DFA candidate dissertating on the relationship between experimental comedy/vanguardist humor, creative cognition, and social innovation. I recently served as associate editor of Yale's journal "Theater" and as teaching fellow at Boston University and Yale School of Drama.

Frequent collaborator with Chicago's Theatre Y, now located in the west side neighborhood of North Lawndale. My work with the company has involved both international artists and local, under-resourced communities of color. Along with literary management and production dramaturgy,, I've conceptualized and developed new works, some of which are long-duration, participatory, site-specific walking performances.

I like work that is formally ambitious and conceptually adventurous. I'm a sucker for the funny and an advocate of diversifying the theatrical landscape with underrepresented and international voices.
