Amber James (she/her) is currently the Marketing Manager with the American Shakespeare Center in Staunton, Virginia. An actor, director, administrator, educator, and international dog-spotter, she received her BFA in Classical Acting from Southern Utah University and her MFA in Shakespeare and Performance from Mary Baldwin University. Acting Credits include Mistress Ford in Merry Wives of Windsor, Rosaline in Love’s Labor’s Lost (Richmond Shakespeare); Margaret in Silent Sky (Chamberlayne Actors Theatre); Mariane in Tartuffe (Perisphere Theater); Anya in The Cherry Orchard (Faction of Fools); Audrey in As You Like It (Prince George’s Shakespeare); Medvedenko in The Seagull (The Wheel Theatre Company); Della in A Gift of the Magi (Flagstaff Shakespeare Festival); Phebe in As You Like It (Richmond IN Shakespeare Festival); Catherine in The Foreigner (SimonFest Theatre); Sambai in Give Us Good (Silk Moth Stage).
