Carried out dramaturgical work on Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya, and Shaw’s Widowers’ Houses, and served as director or assistant director on 24 productions at theatres such as Ensemble Studio Theatre, the Geffen Playhouse, L.A. Theatreworks, and the Theatre @ BostonCourt. Wrote scripts, won a Gold Remi Award for Teleplays at Worldfest Houston and placed as a Top 5 Finalist for Animated Screenplays at the International Family Film Festival. Developed scripts and script ideas for film. Composed close to 300 published film and theatre reviews. Hold an MA in Writing for Performance & Dramaturgy and a BA in Theatre Arts. Studied the work of classic writers in scene study classes and in long-form narrative improv genre work, and engaged in community college classes in film studies and storytelling.
