Anabeth Laaker (pronounced like "locker") is a public historian and educator based in Kansas City. She combines her experience as a historian with her 15 years of theatre education to provide comprehensive and accessible research for historical works.
Most recently, Anabeth worked with the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival to develop social and political contextual research for the production team and cast, as well as synopses and historical materials for the audience.
