Rick Davis is Dean of the College of Visual and Performing Arts and Professor of Theater at George Mason University in Virginia. He was Artistic Director of GMU's Theater of the First Amendment from 1991-2012. He previously worked at Baltimore Center Stage (1986-91) as that theater's first Resident Dramaturg, and became Associate Artistic Director in 1990. He co-founded the American Ibsen Theater in Pittsburgh (1983-85). He was involved with LMDA in the late 80s as co-Editor of LMDA News.
