Rick Davis is Dean, College of Visual and Performing Arts, George Mason University. Active as a director, translator, librettist, and teacher, he has a long association with dramaturgy, from his days as Resident Dramaturg at Baltimore Center Stage (1986-91), and co-founder of the dramaturg-driven American Ibsen Theater (1985-85). He served as VP of LMDA and Co-editor of LMDA Review in the early days.
