Sarah Elkashef was born and raised in the U.K., called New York City home for over a decade, and has been settling here in Montreal for the past three years. As a dramaturg Sarah currently works with Playwrights’ Workshop Montreal, and the National Theatre School of Canada. Prior to arriving in Canada she worked with Soho Theatre (London, U.K.). In addition, Sarah worked as a Producer/Literary Associate/dramaturg in New York City and directed numerous workshops and readings including at the Ensemble Studio Theatre and its Lexington Center for the Arts. Sarah has a B.A. from Warwick University (U.K.), an M.A. in Theatre from Hunter College, the City University of New York, and a Graduate Diploma in Communications from Concordia University (Montreal, Canada).
